I was pleased to receive your efforts to promote forestry and environmental protection. I congratulate you for your leadership in starting a project to benefit people around the world, and I join you in encouraging others to be good stewards of our natural surrounding. I have planted one-third of my farm in Indianapolis to grow hardwood trees. These trees collect carbon, and I have listed the farm on the Chicago Climate Exchange to promote further innovation. I hope your actions will help inspire other people to make a personal contribution to the protection of our environment. I wish you every continuing success in your effort.

I really enjoyed meeting you and was especially happy to learn about The Adventures of Go Green Man. GoGreen Man’s mission to save the earth will help to teach all of our younger generation and I will be sure to read it to my grandchildren. I especially enjoyed the section on GoGreen tips.

As a former teacher, principal, and school board member I know the power of youth and your role in shaping our future. You have gone above and beyond to address the climate change crisis before us and serve as a role model among your peers.

I completely agree with you that we have to do our best to stop global warming. Earlier this year in Congress, I introduced, H.R. 1728, the Global Warming Education Act which will help bring materials into the classroom so that students can learn about climate change. The program would provide all ages with a chance to learn about global warming and what we can do to stop it. If we really want to fight global warming, we have to first make sure everyone understands its causes and effects. Then, we can start to teach people about the green choices they can make in their daily lives to combat climate change.

Thanks again for working so hard to protect our environment. GoGreen Man is a great achievement and is sure to reach many people with his message. I know that you will be successful. Good luck to you and keep up the good work.
